Elon Musk Poll: VOTE HERE on Whether Musk Should Stay Twitter CEO

-

Twitter owner Elon Musk sent shock waves throughout the social media platform when he asked Twitter users to vote in a poll about whether he should stay on as Twitter CEO.

Vote here.

Musk posted the poll on his Twitter page on December 18, 2022. He has followed the results of such polls in the past, such as when he asked whether Donald Trump and suspended journalists should be reinstated to Twitter.

The Musk poll asked “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.” With 10 hours left, just before 7 p.m. central time, yes was winning with 58% of the vote.

Musk has been praised by conservatives for lifting Twitter violations and suspensions against them but he has run into a series of controversies because of his suspensions of journalists, including those who tweeted a page posting the location of his private plane.

Some people on Twitter theorized that Musk is trying to attract new investors to Twitter, and one condition is that he find another CEO. If Musk stepped down as Twitter’s CEO, he would still own the company but would not be in control of its day-to day operations.

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish, as you might get it,” Musk tweeted as the millions of people voted in the poll.

He added, “Going forward, there will be a vote for major policy changes. My apologies. Won’t happen again.”
